Wow! Long time no blog.
Well we made it through 2020 but 2021 has started pretty poorly with another lockdown.
I hardly wrote any poetry last year but I had to write '2020' to try to sum it up.
Please let me know what you think of it!
My daughter Indie also now gets called upon to write the Birthday and Wedding rhyming poems - I've created a mini me in poetry style.
Hers are much funnier though!
We'll see if I come up with my masterpiece... I want to go viral on social media with something great on...

I am very excited and I will publish it on here at some point.
Teaching is going OK - I have been doing it for 4 years now. I enjoy teaching poetry for starters!

I felt strange reading my front page poem just now, thinking that actually I did change everything last year by training to become a teacher! I am nearing the end of the training now. What a journey the year's been! I also think my domain is about to expire but that could be good as perhaps I don't want pupils finding my poems...

So I thought I'd re-visit my early attempt at creating a website and have changed the photo and added a PDF - wow. Except my husband says PDFs are very 1990s or something. Who cares - it was something I managed to do. Added my teenage poetry which is a personal story really of my thoughts and feelings during that interesting stage in life. Well that's what comes of getting your brother to babysit, you come home after some beers, ask what he does at work and hey presto you end up setting up a website, free and quite quickly. Only now he's gone home and I can't work out how to do all the fancy things I planned to do - like hide web links under some neat text, that sort of basic stuff. Oh well, it's a start.
